Junaid Bhayla
Team Lead: Tax Debts
Junaid Bhayla is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with several years of legal experience under his belt.
He has vast experience in both civil and criminal litigation, as well as managing diverse and complex tax debt matters for individuals and corporates alike. He also engages with SARS on tax disputes and VDP applications.
Junaid has pivoted from formal legal practice to the consulting industry, and now navigates SARS engagement, compliance, and the various intricacies that accompany this field of law.
John-Paul Fraser
Team Lead: Cross-Border Taxation
John-Paul Fraser is employed at Tax Consulting South Africa as the Team Lead: Cross-Border Taxation and is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, having completed his BCom Law Degree LLB Degree.
He is in the process of being admitted to the office of Notary Public and is completing his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) through the University of Suffolk in England.
John-Paul specialises in cross-border investment and taxation and has found a passion in the technicalities and relief offered under the current international tax treaties and providing tailored and personal tax strategies for those ranging from the simplest of affairs all the way to complex cross-border tax planning.
André Daniels
Head of Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution
André Daniels is the Head of Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution. He holds an LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg and brings over six years of practical experience in South African law.
As an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, André has extensive expertise in litigation and consulting. He specializes in navigating the complexities of tax dispute resolution, with a strong focus on legal strategy.
His responsibilities include managing tax disputes, overseeing voluntary disclosures, and leading his team in all matters related to SARS engagements.
